FAQs

1. When will classes meet?
Classes meet on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the school year. The exact timing depends on the course you are signed up for. This information can be found under Our Programs

​2. Is my student required to attend tournaments?
No. While we encourage all students to compete and our advanced debate curriculum is based around regular competition, you are not required to attend tournaments as part of the course.

3. How do I track my student's progress? 
We work with parents to set learning goals at the beginning of the course, email individualized updates after every class, and send out longer progress reports at the middle and the end of the program. We are also always happy to speak to parents and address specific concerns as needed.

4. How will my student be placed in the right class?
Our diagnostic and placement forms ensure that all students, including those with limited debate experience, receive the best instruction possible. If an experience gap becomes once class has started, we are also willing to move students to a more, or less, advanced program free of charge.

5. What if a tournament conflicts with a class/what if I miss a class? 
Classes will run as normal unless otherwise specified. We offer complimentary make-up sessions with the kids to make sure they have a full-grasp on the material. Similarly, if your student misses a class. Students will be sent the materials and practice exercises for the day. They will also have the option to send coaches recordings and receive feedback on these exercises

6. What payment method do you accept? 
We accept Bank Transfer, PayPal, Wechat/Alipay.
